I just look at Nature Medicine's table of contents for June and there are actually at lease THREE stories that could impact LGND. One is treating emphysema in rats with tretinoin by researchers at Georgetown (LGND already has Targretin and ALRT1550 in trials at Georgetown and ALRT1550 will probably be more effective than tretinoin). A second is treating lung cancer with novel retinoids. This article is authored by researchers who have been sued in the past by LGND and have agreed that LGND has commercial rights to their research. The third is the flt-3 paper which is impacted by LGND's STAT technology. Henry
