Donald, You wrote;"Never knew that there are no bear funds for you guys. You mean as a Canadian you cant go with PROFUNDs????" Well, yes and no. It's been another of these grey areas in the law. Naturally the Canadian brokerage and mutual fund industry are opposed to it. For a far more comprehensive update on the situation see; members.nbci.com Canadian law prohibits Fund companies from running bear funds and recently there's been increasing opposition to Canuks holding US brokerage accounts!
