Jack, I suggest that you go to the library and get the most basic book on options you can find. After reading that, if you think options are for you (the book probably won't scare you out of them), then go buy a good book on options. I like McMillan's book 'Options as a Strategic Investment'. I started trading options 13 years ago and got burned so bad I didn't come back - until recently. THE SUCKER'S BACK! So far I'm holding my own, but I've done a lot of reading between then and now. There's also a lot of wisdom on this and others threads - Bill, et al. - to tap into. Check out Bill's thread 'Waiting for the Big Kahuna' for more good insights. Good luck, Carl
