Webvan launches San Diego market: biz.yahoo.com "San Diego is the first HomeGrocer.com market to transition to the Webvan brand and a common technology platform, allowing customers to shop on webvan.com. Webvan merged with HomeGrocer in September 2000. The company also stated that beginning today, HomeGrocer's Dallas/Ft. Worth, Los Angeles, Orange County, CA, Portland, OR, and Seattle markets will operate under the Webvan brand." WBVN up 45% right now.
