The recent news about stricter laws governing patents should be a POSITIVE for the genomic software companies. Finding USES for genetics now becomes even more important. Previously, it sufficed just to discover the genes themselves. Rosetta's stock price fell I think because people were confused and don't understand the role of software--it is even more important now than before. The stock price should be much, much higher.
