Like I said, looks like our troops will be coming home from Kosovo and Bosnia. Sending Americans into a war torn, lawless region, is a bad idea, but American troops being sent into war torn, lawless regions, is the definition of their job.
What about the escalation of US involvement in Columbia, Barry? Clinton has dipped our feet in a quagmire to rival Vietnam. Just sent a several billion dollar aid package in the last months of his Presidency. Digging us deeper and deeper. US forces ARE in Columbia, providing intelligence to Columbian army and anti-drug units. Im quite sure there are probably "military advisors" in Columbia as well. What do you think about that "awful idea" being "saddled" upon Bush? What do you think about Clinton getting us involved in a "war torn, lawless" jungle thick with civil war and powerful international drug cartels?
