Ian, Remember that JNPR's products target new "green-field" IP architectures and applications. They don't have exposure to legacy environments of circuit switching. So, clearly NT is doing well in these newer world applications of IP over glass but unfortunately NT still has legacy exposure. The question at hand right now is how is NT managing this transition. NT announced layoffs of folks in slow growth businesses - which I can only read as the older circuit switch businesses... and an equivalent number of new hires in new optical businesses. I take this to be demonstration that NT is managing the transition actively. The only question that remains is how this looks on the top and bottom line. Tomorrow will be an indicator. OG
