when I use the word liberal as an adjective, it is idiotic and infantile in your opinion

That's not what I said. What I said was:

"...any attempt to state a single hypothesis and label it "what liberals think" or "what conservatives think" is infantile and idiotic."

The thread in question does not attempt to do that, so I see no reason to declare it infantile or idiotic on those grounds.

I have no objection to the use of the words "liberal" or "conservative" as adjectives. I do object to arbitrary and awkward generalizations about either conservative or liberal positions.

Is that sufficiently clear, or must I put it in baby-talk for you?
