UP. I'm not in the price prediction business, Venkie, but I believe so much in Qualcomm's business model and ability to execute that I have 30% of my portfolio allocated to it. Their strong patent portfolio ensures they will prosper as cdma is adopted, but there are some powerful barriers will that have to be overcome. Those include political hurdles, existing non-cdma infrastructure valued in the hundreds of billions that must be displaced, and some very clever and well heeled competitors who are defending vested interests that run contrary to Q's ambitions.

No prediction, but my personal target is for qcom to be worth $125-150 by the end of 2001 (which I consider short term), and 4 times that by the end of 2005. A lot of things, including a strong world economy, will have to fall into place for that to happen.

Note: I reserve the right to change those targets as a result of my ongoing due diligence.
