I remember reading that the organization he ran was so open to corruption that no one could make any sense of the books so the IRS threw up its collective hands and backed off. Gee, does that normally happen? I wonder what would have happened to Falwell, Robertson or just about anyone else under similar circumstances, not that they would be so corrupt.
