Under US bankruptcy law, it takes the joint action of at least three creditors to put a company into Chapter 11 involuntarily - it won't happen automatically. But if I were one of the creditors I think it would be a good idea to do it so that the company's affairs would be under the supervision of a bankruptcy judge. As that link I posted to you earlier shows, a majority of Californians think this is all makebelieve. Maybe if they hear different from a judge they will finally believe it. Bankruptcy judges are some of the most skeptical people in the world - maybe more skeptical than parole officers or ex-wives.
