Nah :) ... the philosophy within the party can change anytime. I think the party will become more liberal, without outside interference.
But in recent times, it is quite apparent that Han populations were rather limmited in both Tibet and Xiachang only 100 years ago, I would say that China's occupation of both regions and their subsequent efforts to alter their demographics by importing Han homesteaders, is a clear sign that this is not a matter of Han's preserving some original majority.
I think the current stability is more important, for the sake of the global economy. We need to understand that a utopian society can hardly be achieved without an authoritative system. US without a doubt is a great country, after kicking the Royal asses back to their island. And I know when I pay taxes, my tax money will not go to the Royal family, whom you'd always kowtow to. I can't wait to celebrate on July 4th.
