MMM I think was mainly up because they are getting the GE loser of the CEO bid. Many are hoping he can do for MMM what Welch did for GE.

Anyone looking at Oil companies or oil Equips here?

While I had every intention of closing my longs today, the volatility forced me to stay in. The calls that I am short on were commanding a full point of premium only two days from expiration. I am not going to pay that and decided to ride things out another day since my underlying could drop 3 points and I would still come out better than paying that high price to cover my short call position on my common. Who knows, maybe I will get lucky. I am totally hedged now though with limited downside exposure and no more upside exposure.

Good Luck,

Lee
