Spoke with Fred Hewitt. He is upbeat about the findings. Said the scoping study and metallurgy needs to be done to see just how much ore is needed to be economic to mine. He realizes that people are impatient and that the jr resource sector is in a time of "show me," and great results are often ignored.
The scoping will take about one month to complete at which time we will see if there is further req'd drilling. I asked about expansion room and was told only 30% of the main zone had been drilled. There are additional smaller targets within a two kilometer distance. If i remember correctly Mar west resources outlined a near surface deposit, the San Martin, that was easily mined and was subsequently bought out by Glamis. Initially the drilling outlined 600k ounces I believe and was condsidered economic be cause of small portable mills that are available for this type of situatuion. Maybe this one will be the same and not need to prove to great a tonnage to be viable. Finding monster tonnage is a real challenge, even for cos. with big pocket books. Who knows what will happen, maybe we will get good results over the rest of the strike and on the smaller outer targets. Good luck to us all, we jr. investors need it.
