In Q4 I saw roadmaps that had Morgan in January'01 and Mustang in Q4'99. If the mustang core was ready on time the Morgan would be just around the corner. The Mustang core slipped 3 months and so did the Morgan.
Even outfits like Lynn Computers were listing 1.33 GHZ Athlons for sale late December...so AMD had hinted this to their distributors.
Something slipped big time at AMD with the Mustang core.
Nothing says it can't slip agin either.
The rally of late in the stock is just relief that AMD isn't going broke after all.
