But keep in mind you can't write off any losses from the IRA, and incresed risk translates to exposure to increased losses too. Also a no-brainer. Therefore IRA strategies tend to be somewhat more growth oriented than speculative.

I learned this the hard way; but as always you must do the research and make your own decisions based on your personal goals and tolerance for risk. Good Luck.
