Jim: "The problem is that AMD doesn't seem to be able to go for the kill shot and keeps giving Intel a reprieve." It's better for everyone if the transition of microprocessor dominance from INTC to AMD is smooth...You know need a soft landing for INTC, or we're all in a lot of hooey!!! :-)!!!
