Anyone that has been following the GLOBALSTAR story has a sense of the potential of the system. Mr. Gilder is right about that potential, but all the potential in the world is worthless if it can't be executed in the "capitalist" system. LORAL is a big gun with a track record of being able to execute and deliver....until now. Even the great ones fail. I am truly disappointed in the progress of GLOBALSTAR to this point. It appears as though the final nail is about to driven deep into the heart of GSTAR. With all the developments of late, one is left to ponder whether government subsidized businesses such as LORAL can ever make it on their own with out Uncle Sam's support.
