Hello Cinderella Ed! Before I share my views of the market with you, we need to get something straight. You mentioned:

>> Now yawl seem to vindicate your trading decisions based on what the crowd did today or this week. <<

Ed, it isn't yawl! It's y'll or if you wish to get real technical. How bout ya'll?

Now that the important stuff is out of the way, let's talk business. I'm invested 50/50 techs to energy, after a little tweaking this AM. It doesn't look good for energy from where I sit, but I do think exploration companies have some long term value. I did purchase OEI with the idea of putting it away in the desk drawer, as Slider Mon yoused to say.

I think TMR fits in that "put away" category too and so it is done.

The easy money is in tech right now. It may very well be different next month. I'm on record as stating I believed we'd see a January effect this year and it seems we are. My SGNT was up another 40% today and I'm up over 100% in two weeks. Others on this thread have better results with SGNT than I.

After two losing bouts with LPTH on the short side, I decided to "go with the flow" as JimP has been pounding the table about. LPTH was up 20% today.

I'm of the opinion the tech stocks will do well the rest of this month but may taper off next month in anticipation of mid-quarter earnings warnings.

What does this have to do with energy? I'm of the opinion energy will gather a little momentum in the next few weeks but profitable trades will have to made the old fashioned way. We'll have to earn them.

The financial markets are in denial about energy. That denial is to cause capitulation on behalf of us individual investors. The profits from the tech stocks resulting from the January effect will have to go somewhere, energy should be beaten up enough by then to earn those investment dollars.

All in my very humble "Conservative" opinion, you understand.

BTW Ed, got a generator? <ggg>
