Sorry to be flippant, but I don't think NBCi has another year. As it is, NBCi staff are stretched too thin -- or not used efficiently. It is essentially a web portal without a mission. Nothing worthwhile distinguishes it from Netscape, AOL/TimeWarner, Yahoo, or all the others.

The parent network should pull up the stakes, take down the tent, and incorporate the parts worth saving in their own web home site.
