Amy, I work in Oregon, but I do have coworkers working on the same project in Santa Clara and Folsom. I don't know how they're affected, though. If I were in California these days, I sure wouldn't be taking the elevator. By the way, Californians really don't get it. They complain of price gouging without realizing that had they built a few more power plants in the past decade, they wouldn't be subject to price gouging in the first place. Community and environmental activists protest the building of new generators, then blame Bigtime Corporations when their very efforts created the huge imbalance between supply and demand. Someone will have to pay for this imbalance. Guess who it's going to be? Tenchusatsu
