Hi H-man,

I'm not sure what the downside of reading "Heather Has Two Mommies" would be? Would it encourage little girls to adopt a gender choice that is widely loathed and ridiculed and thus force them to go through expensive and convoluted IV or donor sperm processes when they could've had families the easy, old-fashioned way? Or would it teach them that gay adults can be loving and responsible where children are concerned?

As far as the Boy Scouts not permitting gays as leaders, I'm unsure of the law with respect to this particular organization. If it has been deemed a private organization, they have the right to ban anyone they want, good reason or not. What disturbs me is the insinuation that gay men have less control over their sexuality than straight men. What also disturbs me is the fact that most adult-to-child molestations take place between adult heterosexual men and girls.

Also, I'm unsure as to what "radical gay beliefs" are. What do you think they are?
