Wet Toilet Paper Is Rolled Out
dailynews.yahoo.com

DALLAS (Reuters) - Paper products giant Kimberly-Clark Corp. is hoping
that consumers are ready for a new form of toilet paper -- premoistened wipes on a roll.

The company will launch the new product -- Cottonelle Fresh Rollwipes -- in early summer and hopes that it
will sell $150 million worth in the first 12 months on the market, the maker of Kleenex tissue and Scott and
Cottonelle toilet paper said.

The new product, which is flushable, comes with a dispenser that can hold both the premoistened wipes or
traditional toilet paper. Dallas-based Kimberly-Clark said it expects Rollwipes will be used in addition to
traditional toilet paper, rather than replacing the dry version.

Kimberly-Clark invested more than $100 million in research, development and manufacturing to bring the
product to market, the company, which has about a 31 percent share of the $4.8 billion U.S. toilet paper
market.
