What does an objective observer take from watching the human recounting in Florida. Well the folks on Borward are smart and fast and efficient. They did the count and the recount on time and had only a change of 77 votes or 1 in 2369 votes. The Broward folk, 2 out 3 were also ingenious at finding Gore votes. A smile a wink in plain view a vote and a vote for GORE.

Now Miami they were quick and fast and the recount found a vote change of 177 votes or 1 vote in 3493 votes. This group knew how to count. This group did a partial manual recount and knowing how to count said a manual recount is only for dummies.

Then we come to Judge Burton and the butterfly ballot team. This group I watched and watched and watched. I guess I watched so much because they were always discussing what it is that what it is that they were doing. Now in the machine recount Palm Beach found 892 votes at a rate of 1 in 472. Now by the numbers in the Palm Beach der judge found 7 to 1 Gore votes where there was 1.75 to 1 vote ratio and this kind of raises one's eyebrows. But as I watched and watched and watched I became convinced that Judge Burton and the other member of the board in Palm Beach were very honest decent Americans. I also concluded that they were not competent to understand how to read instructions to purchase a Number 2 pencil and not return witha bag of oranges instead. Whomever they delegated and whatever process they had could not even feed replicate the process of bringing ballots to a machine for counting. The final hilarity was the fact that with 1/4 the ballots of Broward they could not complete a recount by the deadline deadline deadline. In fact the correct certified manual recount was not sent to the Secretary of State untill a week after the final deadline deadline deadline.

I still marvel that any would expect that HUMANs without machines could ever compete with humans with machines for doing anything that is repetative with any kind of accuracy.
