Query: I am a vanilla trader--all stocks, mostly long, mostly Nasdaq, shortening time frame from weekly to intraday trading. I am attracted to IB for the low commission. I am losing too much money now because am trading small sums while learning to use Securitytrader(trading system). I have reviewed the last month of messages here, and have concerns about using IB despite the low commission. It seems that there are problems with Nasdaq listed stocks, BE doesn't work and I should check in with a chat room b4 using IB to see what the day's problems are. All true? Or would IB work okay for needs as simple as mine.

TIA, Lynn
