You cannot tell the logical difference between what consenting adults do with each other, and what adults do with children? Children cannot legally consent, because they are immature- for this reason we protect them. We could, as other societies have done, choose not to protect them. Girls are often sold or given in marriage while children in other countries. I do not think you will find great consensus for that in America. Adults can form intent- we do not need to protect adults from having sex with each other.

Anyone can marry someone of the opposite sex but not of the same sex- clearly this discriminates against people who WANT to marry people of the same sex. You can argue that this discrimination is justified, but I really don't see how you can say it is not discrimination.

I would disagree that homosexuals are deviants, to begin with. But since you start with that ASSumption I think we know all about you.
