RE: CDRW

Questions -

1. Why would you use Jaz as a backup? Comparing CDRW to Jaz is analogous to comparing hard disks to floppies. They serve two different applications.

2. Some targets will be interested in CDRW (ie the power user), but what would attract the high volume mass market to this pricey drive, when a ditto/zip combination can be had at a cheaper price?

3. PNCL stock is cheap. But where do they make their money? I'm not trying to deter you from investing in any way, but if you look at the business models of both companies you (IMO) will find that Iomega is also cheap relatively.

4. Compression. Not really a question, but this is kind of a weird thing. In focus groups that i've sat through, users prefer a 1:1 capacity when looking at backup devices (ie if they have a 3.2GB hard drive they want a 3.2GB backup device).

>>I am not saying that it is a great stock , I am saying that at this price, the down potential is very low and it is more likely to recover than to go down.<<

See point #3.
