Heh! There are much better stocks to short. BOCI is near it's book value and unless they do something really stupid or dishonest I just don't see much more downside. Try to short stocks that have greater downside potential: high price to book, high P/E, high price to sales, slowing growth, high debt, etc. With no debt on the books, and commodity type products that will at least have some appeal, there isn't much chance that BOCI will go out of business soon. The current valuation on the company seems to suggest that investors and speculators think this comany is going downhill. That's only a worst case scenero. Basing investment decisions on extreme possibilities is very risky; it's also called speculation.
