Ron,

I like the idea of lower power servers (since I live in California and all), but rack-mount servers are designed for performance density, and the TMTA approach requires a lot more chips to get that performance number up, such that the impressive density is less appealing. They seem to think it will work--we shall see.

On another note, Transmeta earnings came out ahead of expectations (when correcting for outstanding shares being less than the estimators thought). This could create a rally tomorrow, especially considering they actually forecast nice growth and will probably get some upgrades/coverage. I would love to see another run to 40 for a chance to short it again. With the overall market momentum right now, who knows? I figure once it gets up there again, the chance of a secondary becomes reasonable. . .Maybe it is too soon though, I really don't know. Ol' Krispy Kreme did it already.

Cheers,

Steve
