Not at all. Perhaps we should take Ford at his word and that he did want the country to heal and knew that the Dems would never let that happen unless he acted.

Not that I defend Ford, who I always considered an abomination, at least until Clinton changed everyone's standards for being the worst in office. Clinton, the abomination, Ford, the feckless anomaly.
