We have fathers who work in our girl scout troop and who join the girls on sleepovers. In girlscouts it is required there be more than one adult present at all times- in our troop there are often 3-4. This makes molestation extremely unlikely. A child is much more likely to be molested at school or at a friends house.

I don't know what the boyscouts require- I don't want my son in scouts because I cannot support their attitude- but if they do NOT require two adults to be present to supervise, then they are dim. And as a parent if you don't get involved, you get what you get. And sometimes what you get is bad. I go on every campout, I go to every meeting, and I go to every sleepover. Gosh it would be nice if I could trust everyone, but I can't. And my goodness- don't let your kid go to church- those priests are big time molesters and some of them are even homosexual! Who else is gonna want to live without women for ever, and shack up with a bunch of guys?
