Fertilizer is one form of NG consumption that can easily relocate to low cost areas of the world. This conversion of NG resources to ammonia makes for easy shipping.

GRO has already shut down production, as it is not cost effective with NG prices in excess of $5.

Dumping milk onto the ground is clearly not making the economic pie larger. I keep thinking of the dont cry over spilt milk saying.

The ripples of high energy prices and unstable energy supplies should be observed for longer term impacts, IMO.
