MAJOR UPCOMING EVENT

As far as I know the "Nu Horizons" sponsoring this major event is the same company as NUHC. Is anyone planning to attend the simultcast next week? Thanks.

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2000--Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ:XLNX) announced today the XtremeDSP(TM)/Virtex(R)-II Technical Simulcast, a half-day event to provide solutions to the fast-growing, high performance DSP market. Hosted in collaboration with The MathWorks, Inc., the event will be held at the Santa Clara Marriott Hotel on January 25, 2001 and will be broadcast live via satellite to movie theaters in 24 North American cities, including Dallas, Boston, Chicago, and Toronto. Designed as a technical seminar, well over 5,000 DSP and hardware designers, system architects, and engineering managers are expected to attend the free of charge event. Leading DSP analyst Will Strauss of Forward Concepts, will provide industry market trend and analysis in the area of broadband, including consumer electronics, communication infrastructure, and computer technology. Additional presenters will discuss such topics as Platform FPGA, Virtex-II designs, new DSP design methodologies, tools and architectures for emerging communications and image processing applications.

The event is co-sponsored by leading EDA vendors Mentor Graphics and Synplicity, and distributors Avnet, Insight, and Nu Horizons.
