Thanks for posting that very insightful and most important article on HAART. I just had a chance to read it.

I get the strong sense that there is a real revolution taking place in the thinking toward HIV. That revolution seems to be developing along two lines: (1) the recognition that anti-retrovirals and HAART are not the answer and often do more harm than good, and (2) the willingness to consider the unorthodox idea that their may be more to AIDS than the HIV virus itself. Certainly the former is developing quicker.

WF10 may be arriving at the most opportune of moments. A few years earlier and it may have been buried by the HAART bulls. A few years later, and competition would likely start entering the picture. I think the crest of the wave may be passing by OXO right around the time WF10 is ready for market.

I noticed in the article you bolded points you considered important. I will bold one more paragraph that I thought was key:

"New research indicates that completely effective HAART would take 70 years to kill off all HIVs in a patient's body. And few patients experience such effectiveness. Most are overcome by drug-resistant forms of the virus."

WF10 does does not cause the virus to mutate and thus this concern is eradicated.
