What a week! Liberalism exposed for what it really is: two-faced hypocrisy. Jesse Jackson, Ted Kennedy and Joe Biden all had their time at ‘center stage’ this week – and all proved the point: today’s liberals are phonies who preach one message while living a totally different lifestyle. For example, the sight of Teddy Kennedy accosting John Ashcroft over his support of "women’s rights" is truly laughable. This is a man who killed a woman, lied about it, and got away it! In fact, he later actually ran for president of the United States – and did quite well, too! I wonder if Mary Joe Kopechne and her family look at Ted Kennedy and see a paragon of virtue and an upholder of ‘women’s rights’ – or do they see a spoiled, weak, drunken degenerate who always ‘gets away with it’? Joe Biden? Did you see him pontificating and bloviating at the Ashcroft hearings? How many Americans remember this phony being forced out of a 1980s presidential race when he was caught red-handed plagiarizing campaign speeches from British politician Neil Kinnock? Biden was the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee – and he was stealing speeches! As for the Jesse Jackson illegitimate daughter controversy, it is such blatant hypocrisy that no words can properly capture our outrage. Here is Jackson ‘ministering’ to Clinton during Monicagate and then impregnating a co-worker. And there is Jackson proclaiming George W. Bush an "illegitimate" president down in Florida. Well, he knows all about "illegitimacy," eh? The most shocking aspect of this Liberal Hypocrisy is the reaction by the so-called Mainstream Media. Do the media in any way tweak Kennedy, Biden or Jackson for their double standards? No! Not a word! Instead they actually attach a weight of seriousness to these three phonies. We have a long way to go in this country to root out this double standard – and to teach people that you must behave the way you tell others to behave.
