Clinton Deal Avoids Indictment

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Clinton has reached a deal with independent counsel Robert Ray to avoid an indictment after leaving office and will offer a written acknowledgment for his conduct in the Monica Lewinsky matter, two government sources said Friday.
