ACE*COMM Inks Multi-Year Deal as Provider of Mediation Solutions To Adelphia Business Solutions
Telecommunications Provider to Implement Call Tracking Technology from World's Leading Mediation Vendor
GAITHERSBURG, Md. and COUDERSPORT, Pa., Jan 19, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- ACE*COMM Corporation (Nasdaq: ACEC chart, msgs), the innovator of Convergent Mediation(TM) and provider of Next Generation Network (NGN) Operations Support Systems (OSS) solutions, has signed a multi-year contract with Adelphia Business Solutions (Nasdaq: ABIZ chart, msgs), provider of integrated communication services to businesses. Adelphia Business Solutions will use ACE*COMM's N*VISION(R) technology to enhance its current call usage and customer billing systems. The deal is expected to exceed $1 million initially for ACE*COMM, and provide significant long-term cost savings to Adelphia Business Solutions and its customers.
The N*VISION(R) technology will offer Adelphia Business Solutions' customers better value for their telecommunications investment through tighter account management. Specifically, the N*VISION(R) technology will:
-- Trace, correlate and extract call records to accelerate network
troubleshooting and reduce downtime; and,
-- Analyze customer records and call patterns to develop calling plans
customized to fit each customer's specific needs.
