Finished my first day trading the IB account. The executions were fine, except for a short sale that I was sure I had lifted before execution (it was INCA). After another trade, I noticed it was active. Turned out to be the more profitable trade of the day. Go figure.

I don't understand the CONTRACT column next to the account. Its supposed to show open positions right? A few times, old position "stuck" there and I had to remove them with the delete key. Is this the only way you know if anything is still active? It's a pain to try to match up all the buys and sells when there is no simple portfolio function.
