Will you've hit the nail on the head with the notion that bandwidth is now the limiting factor for mobile Internet applications (at least here in the U.S.). I think that we will see CyberDisplay deployed in Japan first over NTT's IMode then a move to Europe where mobile subscriber penetration rates are much higher than here in the U.S.

For wireless Internet to become popular among the masses it has to a) be easy to use (read: CyberDisplay), and, b) it has to be fast.

We can only hope that NTT has plans to roll out IMode service over ATT wireless which they just bought in to. Unfortunately, the wireless service providers here in the states are trying to milk consumers on voice and probably don't see the potential of data (Internet access), which could be much bigger.
