Because the pipelines have been down because of no electric power, this has been reduced to 2 days. And it gets worse. Natural gas supplies are also short and gas shutoffs will follow. The industrial users are first under the rules and 2/3 of those are -- gas-fired electric plants. Meanwhile the politicians are studying the issue and polls show that a majority of the people believe that the power shortages are a manipulation of the power companies to raise prices. It could not possibly be true that the power companies are short of money and can't buy accept on a cash basis.
