You have been absolutely correct all along. It all makes perfect sense to me now. It's crystal clear why a guy like Jeff Marcus would take his valuable experience at "pos" companies like DoubleClick, KPMG, UPS and IBM and go to work for another "pos" such as Mirror Image. Just looking at his track record, this guy has never chosen a winner.

Mirror Image Internet Strengthens Management Team with New Vice President of Operations

Jeff Marcus Brings More Than 16 Years Technology and Operations Experience to Internet Infrastructure Provider
WOBURN, Mass., Jan 17, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Mirror Image Internet, an innovative provider of Internet content delivery services and subsidiary of Xcelera Inc. (AMEX: XLA chart, msgs), today announced it has named Jeff Marcus to the position of vice president of operations. Mr. Marcus will lead the company's network operations and infrastructure team, ensuring the reliability of Mirror Image's services as well as overseeing the scalability and efficiency of its technical applications.

Mr. Marcus brings more than sixteen years of high technology, operations and engineering experience, most recently serving as vice president of Global Networks at DoubleClick, Inc., and managing global networks at KPMG.

"As a global Internet infrastructure provider, the essence of the Mirror Image business lies in the strength of our sophisticated content delivery architecture and the value we bring to our customers' business objectives," said Cos Santullo, president and CEO of Mirror Image Internet. "Bringing a wealth of experience and industry knowledge to this new position, Jeff will play a critical role in further bolstering the performance of Mirror Image's services and accelerating the build out of our global network."

"Mirror Image solves a major shortcoming of the Internet, that of delivering content quickly and reliably through diverse Internet providers around the globe. It's something that all businesses struggle with and Mirror Image provides a unique solution that goes well beyond simple Web caching and data routing," added Jeff Marcus, vice president of operations at Mirror Image. "I look forward to working with the team to broaden our business opportunities and deliver the highest quality offerings to our customers."

In addition to his work at DoubleClick and KPMG, Mr. Marcus also served as the vice president of operations at Global Enterprise Services, formerly known as the John von Neumann Supercomputing Center (JvNCnet ISP), one of the original NSF regional Internet providers. He also managed the Network Planning department at United Parcel Service, where he developed its corporate networks, including the company's first national cellular data system. His engineering experience includes developing communications software at IBM, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
