Lynn, get yourself the following book and you should be all set. amazon.com Since you'll probably end up doing most of your Nasdaq trading through REDI (at least that's what I'd recommend) also make sure you check out their documentation (http://www.redibookecn.com) for the details of their order logic. IB sends marketable limit orders to REDI as type LMT orders. Dave
