Actually, still recovering from the deluge. 2000 was the Year it Rained Cats. I'm still on the sidelines as to whether it's strictly a bull-market phenomenon (it certainly worked well while the market was going unidirectionally), or can be played/modified for sideways/downward markets.
In the meantime, I've taken to playing cats three to four days after they gap down, setting tight stops and taking profits at the drop of a hat. Some of them -- NETA, TMWD, and VITR -- have done very well. But that kind of gambling isn't the idea of the thread, ergo my silence here.
See if you can get a holler out of Allan; he was outpicking me in the Cat Dept.
