Excellent post.The following bell curve clearly shows an overbought condition on the daily whereas the weekly is slightly oversold as yet.

This would seem to support your thoughts.After previewing I can see it's difficult to read as it didn't cut and paste well.Each chart has three numbers with the middle number being the mean where it is not overbought or oversold.Similar to stochastics in a sense.
