hi gott

that's really saying something. a great product endorsement.

right now, nav is giving me a run for my money on my win95 pc. i tried to install nsw2001 on it and it said the os was too old. so i loaded a copy of nsw2000 on it, which is one version step up from the nsw2.0 that was on there.

all components work well except nav liveupdate. i have been blasting through several of the numerous fixes outlined in the symantec knowledge base. so far, no dice. but as we speak i am trying a workaround involving putting a shortcut to navlu32.exe on my desktop, which will then update my virus defs and the nav program only. i followed their instructions and found some updates to download. hopefully this will put the av back in my nsw.

too much fun, huh?

:)
