Paul; Just projections based on the greater speed of the devices coupled with the time of flight problems encountered with fast data propagation. With very fast computers where the propagation delay exceeds a clock cycle by some amount, you can have a number of clock cycles occurring at the same time as they are separated by enough space/gate delay to need planning to integrate them into the overall operation. To minimize this problem you must either allow for these delays, and even use them, or bring all things so close together that they can all see the same heartbeat(clock). As you noted you cannot send the date out for breakfast and have it come back after lunch. A similar propagative pattern occurs in living brains. Bill
