I'm quite sure you're right about this, but it would make more people take notice at least (and therefore hasten the point at which said behavior is no longer an acceptable course of action)... I might believe that had it made people take notice prior to the advent of hedonic wizardry...it didn't. You all act like credit/debt creation out of line with GDP is a relatively new phenomenon of the last few years post-Boskin Commission. Trust me, it is not.
