29-Dec-2000 Old NESS Press Release Ness Presents Final Drilling Program to Dr. Druckman
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 29, 2000 4:59 PM
- PRNewswire

WILLOW PARK, Texas, Dec 29, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Ness Energy International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: NESS) reports that its Chairman and CEO, Hayseed Stephens, accompanied by Bob Fowler, a Ness consultant and retired Chairman of Enserch Exploration in Dallas, returned from highly successful meetings in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem approximately two weeks ago.

Stephens stated several very important things were accomplished; most importantly, a productive meeting with Dr. Charles Druckman, Petroleum Commissioner of Israel. The Commissioner was presented the final drilling program, which was prepared by Ness Consultant, Dick Kincheloe, past Enserch Executive. Stephens said, "At this time, we will probably do more seismic along the east side of the salt dome and across the potential pay zone for the Har Sdom #1 re-entry. In addition, we will interpret several other lines in that area to enhance the potential of discovery." All of the above depends on Dr. Druckman's agreement on the work program and will, consequently, officially extend the December 31, 2000 spud-in date.

Extensive meetings were held with executives of Lapidoth Exploration Company, primarily pertaining to the preparation of the EMSCO 1500 being utilized in the Har Sdom #1 re-entry and sidetrack. During the meeting, Ness representatives met at length with Mr. Luxembourg, the new owner of Lapidoth. Both Stephens and Fowler felt that Luxembourg is a brilliant young man, and one with whom they could work with successfully in the future. Stephens stated, "Meetings were held with the parties responsible for the crucial mud program of the upcoming well, Har Sdom, which is so critical to the success of the drilling and production projects."

The President related that plans are being completed for Fowler and Kincheloe to return to Israel Friday, January 5, 2001 to have strategic meetings with the Oil Commissioner, drilling company and the seismic company. They are eager to finalize these matters so that the well can be re-entered and completed.
