I didn't have any problems at all on the net yesterday. Just make sure you can also reach your brokers by phone if the ISPs take a vacation. I know it is slower and sometimes costs more in commission, but it is better than losing your shirt.

I am not much of a day trader as I think day traders tend to take profits that are too small to beat the inevitable losses. However, I know a few folks, out of 1000s, who consistently make a living doing it, so I hope you are one of them. I rarely use margin, and then only for conservative positions, usually maximum income, where I can lock in a rate higher than the margin rate. Too much extra risk for my chicken-eatin' heart. <g>
