If you have a digital camera just snap photos of the screens, quicker than writing down the info. The photos turn out very well. I have changed batteries before, not that big of a deal. I tell you I don't know what I would do without a digital camera, ever try and explain something to someone? I do it with photos. Ever complain to a contractor that you were not 100% satisfied with some work? Show them photos, and they will hop right to it and fix the problem. Something about photos, sure gets the people motivated. Here's my little buddy: powershot.com If you get one, buy a large CF Card, because when you take pictures for free, not hard to take 70 (or more) pictures in a day.
